Using an overall hot-dip galvanizing process
with a zinc layer thickness ≥85μm, it forms both physical isolation and electrochemical protection. Even if the zinc

The core function of the galvanized tubular steel tower is to provide stable high-altitude support and protection for
power lines, communication equipment, photovoltaic modules, and other components. Its working principle is divided into
two parts:
Structural Support Principle
Through reasonable mechanical design, the tubular structure evenly transfers the top loads
(weight of wires and equipment, wind loads, ice loads, etc.) to the tower foundation.
By utilizing the large radius of
rotation characteristic of steel pipes, the structure's stiffness and stability are enhanced, ensuring the safety of the
support system.
Corrosion Protection Principle
The hot-dip galvanized layer forms a dense zinc-iron alloy layer on the steel surface.
On one hand, it physically isolates corrosive mediums such as water, oxygen, and salt spray; on the other hand, zinc, as
a more active metal, forms a galvanic cell with the steel, preferentially oxidizing to protect the steel.
Meanwhile, the
corrosion products of zinc form a passivation film, further blocking corrosion and achieving long-term protection.

Precautions for Use
Before installation, check that the nameplate on the galvanized tubular steel tower matches the design drawings, and
inspect the tower body, flanges, bolts, and other components for completeness to ensure there is no deformation or
damage.
Use high-strength nylon ropes during hoisting to avoid damaging the galvanized coating with steel wires. The
vertical deviation during installation should be ≤1/1000 to ensure structural stability.
The tower foundation should use a C30 concrete independent foundation with embedded anchor bolts to ensure reliable
connection with the tower body. The grounding resistance should be ≤10Ω, and the effectiveness of the grounding
system should be regularly checked.
Avoid welding, cutting, or other operations on the surface. If modifications are
required, the galvanized corrosion protection must be reapplied.
Regularly check the integrity of the zinc coating, bolt tightness, and structural deformation. In coastal and
high-corrosion areas, inspections are recommended every six months, and any damaged zinc coating should be repaired
promptly.
