220kV Regional Backbone Network Scenario: Standard straight/tension-type galvanized steel tube
lattice towers are recommended, with heights ranging from 30m to 63m. The lattice node design is optimized to
improve structural stiffness. The main material is Q355B, suitable for urban ring networks, river/cross-road
projects, and mountainous transmission lines, balancing load-bearing capacity and economy. For line corner
requirements, corner-type galvanized steel tube lattice towers may be used.
500kV and Above Ultra/Extra High Voltage Scenario: Large-load tension-type,
double-circuit/multi-circuit galvanized steel tube lattice towers are recommended, with heights ranging from 54m to
100m. The main material is Q420 high-strength steel tubes, with zinc coating thickness increased to ≥90μm, and
structural stress design optimized. Suitable for cross-province/cross-region transmission, wide-span projects, and
new energy base delivery channels, ensuring that galvanized steel tube lattice towers can withstand high-capacity,
high-tension loads and operate stably and reliably.
(2) Recommended Selection Based on Scenario Function
Conventional Straight Transmission Lines: For lines that are straight with angles less than 5°, it
is recommended to use standard straight galvanized steel tube lattice towers. These towers have a simple structure,
light weight, and low cost, can be mass-produced, significantly shorten project cycles, and are suitable for flat
areas such as plains and gentle hills.
Line Direction/Segment Scenarios: For angles between 5°-90°, angled galvanized steel tube lattice
towers are recommended. For line segments and broken-line protection sections, tension-type galvanized steel tube
lattice towers should be used. Both types adopt reinforced lattice structures to enhance lateral tension and
deformation resistance, ensuring line safety redundancy. At the line entry to a station/substation, terminal-type
galvanized steel tube lattice towers are recommended. The structure design is optimized for single-side load
characteristics to improve stability.
Large-Span Special Scenarios: For crossings over rivers, highways, railways, valleys, and other
scenarios, high-span galvanized steel tube lattice towers are recommended. They are made of ultra-high-strength

New Energy Supporting Scenarios: For wind and photovoltaic base collection lines, lightweight
