Product Principle of Operation
As the core supporting structure of a straight section of a transmission line, the transmission tangent tower
primarily functions to suspend conductors and ground wires, and to bear vertical loads (conductors and ground wires,
tower self-weight), horizontal loads (wind load, ice load, seismic effects), and broken wire tension.
The tower uses a spatial truss structure, which efficiently transfers various loads to the tower foundation through
the rational arrangement of main members, diagonal members, and horizontal members, ensuring the geometric stability
and electrical safety of the transmission line under extreme conditions.
The Power Transmission Tangent Tower electrically isolates the conductors from the tower through insulator strings, while
working together with ground wires to provide lightning protection, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient
transmission of electrical energy in straight sections.
