High-strength load resistance

The main materials of the transmission tension tower are Q355B and Q420B high-strength angle steel, with a lattice truss structural design that ensures uniform and reasonable stress distribution.

It can effectively bear the axial tension of conductors, wind load, ice load, and seismic effects, and can accommodate line angle requirements from 2° to 30°.

The structural stability far exceeds industry standards, eliminating the risk of progressive collapse of the lines and ensuring the safety of the transmission lines.

Long-lasting maintenance-free

The transmission tension tower adopts a dual anti-corrosion system of hot-dip galvanization and epoxy powder coating, strictly following the GB/T 13912 standard requirements.

The anti-corrosion service life is ≥30 years, making it suitable for harsh outdoor environments such as coastal areas, saline-alkali land, and high-cold mountainous regions, significantly reducing the full lifecycle operation and maintenance costs of transmission tension towers and minimizing later repair investments.

Principle of Product Function

As the "rigid anchoring node" of a transmission line, the core function of a Power Transmission Tension Tower is to bear conductor tension, balance the forces on the line, and ensure the stable operation of the transmission line. The principle of its function is mainly reflected in three aspects:

First, tension bearing and anchoring. The transmission tension tower fixes the conductors through the tower head cross arm and strain insulator strings, receiving and balancing the axial tension on both sides of the conductor at line turns, segmentations, or terminal positions, preventing conductor stretching or detachment, avoiding line displacement, and providing rigid support for the line.

Second, force balance and transmission. The lattice angle steel structure of the transmission tension tower is designed through professional mechanical simulation to evenly transmit various forces such as conductor tension, wind load, and ice load to the tower foundation, preventing local stress concentration, avoiding tower deformation or damage, and ensuring long-term structural stability of the tower.

Third, optimizing line layout. By means of reasonable angle design and structural configuration, the transmission tension tower enables line turning and segment control, balances line parameter asymmetry, reduces additional line loss and electromagnetic interference, and ensures a safe distance between conductors and the ground or buildings, meeting the requirements of DL/T5352-2018 standards and ensuring transmission safety and power quality.
